On the other hand, after being 1 hour on the plane from Reykjavik to Egilsstadir (EGS), you can drive your car to Jökulsárlón. This road trip is about 4 hours 167mi (270km) and the fuel is around 46$ (40€) or 58$ (50€). So you would be traveling for approximately 5 hours.

The planes prices may vary depending on the time of year you want to travel, so we recommend you look at the tickets well in advance to get them cheaper.
