Pick-up in Puerto Natales

The guide will pick you up at your accommodation in Puerto Natales. The tour has two daily departures: morning and afternoon; and you will be informed of the exact departure time in your confirmation e-mail. It is important that you be at the door of your hotel at least 15 minutes before the indicated time.

You will board the minibus and head for the slopes of Cerro Dorotea, the natural boundary between Chile and Argentina. You will arrive there in just 15 minutes.

Horseback riding in the Cerro Dorotea

Upon arrival you will receive a safety briefing and instructions on how to enjoy the ride. Then you will be given your equipment: gaiters and helmet, and you will be ready to start riding.

The horseback ride will begin with a slight ascent up the eastern slope of the Cerro. You will reach a native forest, where for a moment we will get off the horse and approach on foot to the main viewpoint. A unique enclave from where you will be able to appreciate the city of Puerto Natales, the Almirante Montt Gulf, the Última Esperanza Fjord and a large part of the Patagonian steppe.

Return to Puerto Natales

After a short rest, you will get back on the horse and we will start the descent by the same path to the minibus. Once in the foothills of Cerro Dorotea, we will say goodbye to our horse and our guide and we will get back on the minibus that will take us back to Puerto Natales.
