Meet the other adventurers at the Jökulsárlón lagoon parking lot, where the guide will be waiting for you along with the Super Jeep and the rest of the group.

Breiðamerkurjökull Hike
After a half hour drive through the Icelandic wilderness, you will arrive at Breiðamerkurjökull, which is a part of the Vatnajökull glacier.
Once equipped and after a few safety lessons, it's time to start your hike. For approximately 3.5 hours, you will explore the glacier while your guide tells you all the secrets of Vatnajökull.
Vatnajokull Glacier Excursion
Don't forget your camera because the icy landscape surrounded by mountains will leave you speechless. The ice formations and crevasses offer an ideal landscape for photography.
After a morning of hiking on the ice, you will finish our Vatnajökull adventure by returning by Super Jeep to the Jökulsárlón lagoon parking lot.

The Vatnajokull Glacier Hike starts and ends at the Jokursalon Glacier Lagoon parking lot and you will have to travel there by car.
You can reach Jökulsárlón lagoon by car from Reykjavík. The trip is 375 km and the cost of gasoline is between 52 and 75 euros. It will take about 6 hours and it is very important that you take into account the weather conditions that day.

How difficult is the Vatnajökull glacier walk?
Our glacier tour is considered to be of moderate difficulty. If you are able to walk for about 1 hour up and 1 hour down on uneven surfaces, there would not be any problem. During the winter we recommend you wear: warm clothes as a first layer, waterproof outdoor jacket and trousers, hiking boots with ankle protection, a hat and gloves. Make sure you don't wear jeans for the hike in the cave, once they get wet they will take a long time to dry and therefore leave you cold.What is the maximum group size?
The maximum number of travelers is 12. We try to create small group sizes to enhance the experience.How does bad weather affect my trip?

In most cases, suitable waterproof clothing and hiking boots should be enough to withstand the frequent Icelandic.
