The Whale Capital

In the north of Iceland lies the oldest settlement on the island, the city of Húsavík, from where our adventure begins. On its coast, in Skjálfandi Bay, we can find up to 11 different species of whales, including the great blue whale.  It is known as the European whale capital for good reason.
