The Estancia is beautiful. Our guide, Alejandro, and our boat captain/asado chef, sheep shearer, Donald, were outstanding. Alejandro was very nice and knowledgeable . His English is excellent, although my wife and I speak Spanish too. Donald was also very nice. Great skipper of catamaran, accomplished chef of the lamb asado, and nice presentation on sheep shearing. The weather was also virtually perfect. 
My one issue. We chose horseback riding. The horse that was assigned for me got unruly once I got on her. Reasons are unclear as to why this happened. The person assisting me was a exchange student who was not as experienced and could not control the horse. As a result I ended up falling with the horse,bruising my ribs. It does not appear I had any fractured ribs, but I will be sore for a while. The manager of the property, Ian, Alejandro our guide, and the estancia staff, were very attentive to me and did their best to ensure that I was ok. Alejandro ended up staying with me and my wife and ended up hiking on the property which was quite enjoyable . Our sons did go horseback riding and had a blast. 
Breakfast and lunch were amazing. Overall it was an outstanding memorable experience , even with my accident. These things are unpredictable . I have learned to respect horses. It is what it is, and that is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

This trip with Estancia Patagonia was exceptional! The scenery, the activities, the food (the lamb!!!) and drinks, guide and estancia employees and service were all spectacular. 10/10 would definitely recommend. Definitely choose the horse riding option!

Our favorite part of our trip to the Patagonia! Absolutely a magical experience to spend a day with the Estancia La Peninsula family. Horseback ride was suitable for beginners but also super fun for those a little more experienced, gorgeous scenery and a great way to explore it. The lamb was the best we had in the region (can’t beat that freshness!), lunch was superb, and the company was even better! Watching a sheep be sheared and learning about the process was fascinating - Donal is the man. Giant shoutouts and thanks to Ian, Trisha, Rodrigo, Jorge, Donal, and sheepdog Hippy for giving us a look into their piece of heaven down in the Patagonia— we will never forget it! This is absolutely the Estancia experience to choose when planning your trip around Puerto Natales and Torres del Paine. We can’t wait to come back!!

absolutely worth it - the roast lamb was the best we’ve ever had, the horseback riding was easy for us beginners and the staff at the farm were so welcoming and friendly. the estancia itself is beautiful as well!

Excellent day.  All staff were very attentive to the groups needs and gave us a lot of information about Chilem the region and estancia life.  Food and drinks were delicious and plentiful.  Activities were excellent.  Safety was a priority.  Can say enough about this trip.  Was well worth the more expensive trip.
