Pick up at the meeting points
We hope you have your batteries charged because a day full of emotions and experiences awaits you. We will pick you up between 6:00 and 8:00 a.m. at the meeting points in Cancun and Riviera Maya. Once all the travelers are gathered, we will head to Valladolid, a town of colorful houses that you will not be able to stop photographing.
Arrival in Valladolid
After 150 km of driving, we will arrive at one of the most captivating towns in Mexico, Valladolid. Did you know that it is named after the Spanish city with which it shares its name? For half an hour, you can stroll through this town and visit its famous cathedral of San Servasio, an icon of the place.
Archaeological Tour of Chichén Itzá
We arrive at the archaeological site of Chichen Itza, where great Mayan mysteries await you. You will tour the ruins of Chichen Itza with an expert archaeologist guide for an hour and a half. You will walk through the Temple of the Warriors and the Ball Court of the Mayan civilization.
Free time and sacred cenote
You will have an hour and a half of free time to enjoy the site on your own and take pictures. You can also visit an authentic sacred Mayan cenote.
This 200-feet diameter well was used by the Maya for their sacrifices and rituals in the name of Chaac, god of rain in this culture. When the site was discovered, a large amount of archaeological objects and human bones were found! It is really amazing.
Free buffet at Real Mayab
At 1:30 p.m., all travelers will meet at the entrance of the archaeological site to go to the Real Mayab hotel. You will have an hour and a half to enjoy a delicious regional Mexican meal at an open buffet.
Swimming in a Mayan Cenote
After lunch, we will head to another cenote located approximately half an hour away, and in this case, it invites you to take a dip. This crystal clear water well together with the open sky creates a visual stamp that you will not be able to stop looking at. It is a really beautiful landscape, and you will enjoy it like a little child.
Return from Chichen Itza
Now comes the hardest part, getting out of the water and saying goodbye to this paradise. After this multitude of experiences, we will return to the same meeting points in Riviera Maya and Cancun. In just one day at Chichen Itza and Cenote Tour, you will have accumulated a series of memories of your trip to Mexico that you will want to relive as soon as possible.
