Tours in Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu is the most visited place in all of Latin America. This wonder of the world should be a must-stop on your trip to Peru. As we don't want you to miss this must-see, at Howlanders you will find a wide range of Machu Picchu tours, adapted to all types of travelers 👌🏽.

Machu Picchu Excursions

Without a doubt, the Sacred Valley Machu Picchu tour is the favorite of our travelers. It is a fantastic way to visit a great number of interesting points in just two days such as the Sacred Valley, Aguas Calientes, the Ollantaytambo fortress, and of course Machu Picchu.

On the other hand, you can go to Machu Picchu by car with our most comfortable guided tour 🚗, or if you prefer you can make the visit in just one day.

Machu Picchu hiking tours

If you are more adventurous, we have prepared a series of Machu Picchu tours that are based on hiking routes to reach the Inca ruins.

There are different paths that you can take to reach the same goal, so look for the one that best suits your preferences and get ready for the adventure. From the 4-day Salkantay trek, the favorite of trekking fans, to the well-known Inca Jungle, also a 4-day route that mixes trekking and cycling 🚵🏽‍♀️.

Why do ordinary Machu Picchu tours when you can add a little adrenaline and adventure?

Train to Machu Picchu

All our tours include the one-way train ticket from Machu Picchu for the trekking tours where you arrive walking and the return train ticket for the others.

The train to Machu Picchu is a tourist attraction in itself and departs from Aguas Calientes, the nearest town 🚞.

Height of Machu Picchu

You may think that the most famous Inca city in the world, being in the mountains, has a higher altitude than Cusco, the city from which all our Machu Picchu tours depart. Not so! 😱

Machu Picchu is 2,430 meters above sea level, while Cusco is at 3,399 meters. These changes in altitude can confuse your body and cause certain symptoms of altitude sickness. Don't worry! All you have to do is rest, eat well before doing any of the Machu Picchu tours and take it easy.

Are you ready to live a once-in-a-lifetime adventure?
