The Surf Camp for beginners is thought for newcomers without experience who start from scratch in the surfing world. During your stay in Famara, you will complement your surf lessons with healthy activities and functional exercises aimed at rapid progress in learning.
You will have access to the gym equipped with a projection room and the latest in surfing instruction: Drysurf System Balance and Gyroboards.
You will make rapid progress and feel your evolution every day with the help of qualified instructors.
To ensure proper learning and your safety, there will be a maximum of 8 surfers per instructor, also qualified in lifeguarding.
You will be able to choose the time of your stay that best suits your plans. From 3 to 7 days learning everything you need to know about surfing techniques to be able to catch waves like an expert.

The Surf Camp initiation is offered all year round, with surfing lessons in the morning and functional exercises in the afternoon.
From 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. we will carry out the theoretical and practical surfing lessons on the beach.
The staff will take your picnic to the area where you are that day so that you only have to worry about surfing.
In the afternoon, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday we will enjoy the center's exclusive gym for various healthy activities and functional exercises. And when the weather is nice, outdoor activities!
Exercises totally oriented to improve your technique: photo analysis with error correction, Drysurf System Balance or Gyroboards; among others.
You won’t have enough sea? Don’t worry!
From the third day of class, once your instructor considers that you already have the necessary knowledge to surf on your own, you can use the school's surfing equipment.
Enjoy the last hours of sunshine applying on the board everything you have learned these days.
Monday's session will start with a theoretical lesson about the most common mistakes we make in surfing. This first part will help you to understand and progress in your technique.
We will practice a series of exercises aimed at working on proprioception, improving balance and strengthening the core through balancing.
You will use special boards Drysurf System Balance: complement to improve the surf.
Gyroboards: that will help you to simulate the turns in the board. Also TRX and Bosus to reinforce the standing and paddling.
And finally, the best moment: a good stretch.
On Tuesday we will have a theoretical session in which we will talk about the different factors that affect the waves and the practice of surfing. This class will help you get the most out of your time in the water.
We will learn how the tides work and how the wind influences them. As well as the different types of sea beds and currents.
Your instructor will explain to you about the rules of surfing and the correct behaviour in the water in front of other surfers.
In the last part of this session, we will emphasize the knowledge and care of the material we use to practice surfing.
After the session, you will know everything you need to continue enjoying and practicing this exciting sport.
With the photos taken during your stay in Famara, on Thursday we will carry out the photo-analysis session. A correction of errors from photos taken of the whole group during the surfing lessons.
A dynamic and fun method of learning, with which you will observe both your mistakes and those of your classmates, without forgetting the details that you do correctly!
Thanks to this technique of photo-analysis we will be able to correct postural errors and/or in the time-in.
Thursday's session will also have a second part of advanced theory, common to all levels.
From the hand of qualified instructors, you will learn how to pass the wave barrier, how to place yourself in the line-up or how to catch waves on the peak. And there's more!
We will have the second class of Dry-Surf, this time with a more functional approach. Get the towel ready, we're sweating today!
Friday has arrived, and our body knows it: it's time to relax.
Today we will have a yoga class or a stretching class for beginners or intermediates. With this session we will discover another healthy way to stretch the body through basic postures.

During your stay on the Surf Camp for beginners, you will lodge with other surfers in the Surf House located in the natural reserve of Famara. A unique rural setting 100 meters from the beach, with views of the island of La Graciosa.
A house of 250m2 equipped with all the necessary benefits and services that you will share with people of different nationalities. A meeting place for wave lovers, where your other family is waiting for you: the surfer.
The Surf House is prepared for you to enjoy all the common areas, kitchen, barbecue and sun terrace just 100 meters from the water.
This program includes accommodation in a shared room.
