Pick-up from your accommodation in Ushuaia
The Martial Glacier Trekking begins at 11:00 AM with pick-up from your accommodation in Ushuaia. Once the group is complete, we will head to the trailhead at the base of the Martial Glacier, very close to the city center.

Ascent through the forest
We’ll begin the hike along the old Martial ski slope. The trail climbs steadily but gently, passing through the Andean-Patagonian forest. During this section, the guide will share information about local flora, fauna, and geography. As we gain elevation, the path runs alongside a stream formed by glacial melt. Gradually, we’ll leave the vegetation behind and enter a more open landscape dominated by rock and ice. This is where we’ll truly begin to feel the presence of the glacial environment.

Martial Glacier Trekking
Time to gear up! We’ll put on our crampons and continue the ascent over loose rock and ice. This stretch, while not technically difficult, offers a more adventurous experience. At the Martial Glacier viewpoint, you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the Beagle Channel, Fuegian valleys, and the city of Ushuaia.

Lunch and descent
Time to refuel! We’ll take a break to enjoy the included lunch, accompanied by a snack and a hot infusion. There’s nothing like a good outdoor meal surrounded by stunning scenery to recharge and share the experience with the group.
