Had a great experience booking through Howlanders. All the logistics with the park permits, transportation, accommodations and food were all taken care of with no issues. They asked about dietary restrictions and communicated this with the refugios that we stayed at to ensure these were accounted for. The team at Howlanders was quick to respond and helped us reschedule dates as our initial request (1-day earlier) was unavailable. They were very organized, experienced and ensured that all our questions were answered at the orientation session as well as through email when we had additional questions. The hike itself was incredible with amazing views and I would definitely recommend booking through Howlanders!

The place is breathtaking and I will recommend the W trek without a hint of a doubt to everyone. However, my advice would be to look for a different company if you are a vegan or vegetarian. Even after repeated reminders, the food provided was unpalatable and it lacked proper nutrition. The packed lunch was buns with some tasteless vegetarian items squeezed between them.

The company did well to book the buses, catamaran, Refugios, and provide a briefing on the trek. 

Along with exploring one of the most enchanting park, you are sure to make tons of friends along the way. 

We LOVED it. The W-trek is amazing, so so beautiful!! Thank you so much for taking good care of us. The lunch was perfect and very tasty! The diners were nice but not amazing. We were lucky with the weather. Only thing, we were very sad we had to choose between 2 trails on the last day. Also they were both very long with the 18.00 boat, it made it a bit stressful. I was a bit disappointed that we had to stay in cuernos instead of frances, cuz that would have given us better circumstances to fill the days. Buuuut with that said, we still loved the adventure and everything was great! Thank you so much :)

We did the full W-trek in 3 days (95km), staying in Central and Cuernos Refugios. Started at 06.00 am in the mornings, long days but doable if physically fit (arrived between 5 and 6 pm in afternoons). Loved the Refugio’s with their friendly and helpful staff and nice atmosphere

It was an amazing experience, one I will never forget.  Beautiful and humbling.
Howlanders needs to work on their accuracy.  The time stated to report to the pre-trek meeting in Puerto Natales was incorrect and this is evidently a common problem--the tour people joked about it.  Instead of the French refugio that is promised  ("best food") I was sent to Cuernos.  That's a wonderful refuge but it adds two hours to an already long day three when the boat must be met on time while subtracting two hours from what is the easiest and shortest day 2--a serious difficulty.  But overall and in spite of these, it was a trip of a lifetime!

The hike was stunning and the natural reserve is really impressive. I would def recommend making the W in 4-5 days rather than 3 that is a bit tight. We had an issue with the second night as per a miss understanding with the local agent and instead of staying in the French refuge we ended up staying at cuernos which made the 3rd day impossible to hike to the glacier lake.

The park and the hikes are so worth doing,  but I do not recommend booking this one.  While online it says that you will stay in the French sector, I was booked for Los Cuernos, which adds two hours in the morning the third day walking up to Frances.  It makes the second day very easy (assuming you don't accidently go to Frances because that's what you were told),  but the third day extremely extremely difficult to follow the itinerary for either option and make the catamaran unless you start at 630am (earliest breakfast was at 7am, it's roughly 11hours of walking).  If I had been booked in Frances as listed on the itinerary this would have been great,  but instead I'm left with this feeling like I missed out since I didn't see the grey glacier (and likely would have missed the boat if I had tried to get to lookout Britanico). For reference of my walking speed,  I timed the tower base trek at 7h20 plus about 30 minute lunch break according to my Garmin.  I still had a great time,  but I think being booked in Frances is a requirement for an accelerated itinerary.  Honestly, if the booking had been for Frances the second night, I think this would have been 5 stars, but as the whole point of booking through a service like this is to get the accommodations and transport right, and there were only 2 nights, this can only be 2 stars.

The nature was awesome! The weather was good. The food and organization was good. Banos were mixed, one very good, one small an dirty. The tents were very small, the beds awefull (small, hard and no pillow). People were nice. Overall a great experience with little sleep.

We did the 3-day Salt Flat tour starting in Uyuni and ending in San Pedro de Atacama. Our tour guide was Plácido, who was absolutely fantastic, knowledgeable, and super friendly. We were blown away by the tour and the amazing nature we saw. The tour overall was well-timed and organized, and we would not have changed anything!

We absolutely loved our experience of Torres del Paine, organised by Howlanders. We found that it was complicated to book the trek ourselves online, so the service from Howlanders completely simplified our experience. Everything was organised and booked for us in advance so we didn't need to worry about anything when we arrived. We camped and were really pleased that we went for this option - the tents were comfortable and the showers were hot! The vegetarian food options were fantastic and we were well fed across the three days. The trek itself was absolutely breathtaking and definitely something we'll never forget. If you are hesitating about booking this tour... don't! You won't regret it.

We had the best time! Great views, weather, and accommodations.
