The Torres del Paine 2 day tour is a guided tour that includes one night of lodging at Camping Pehoé. Accompanied by a local guide you will do the iconic Trekking Mirador Base Torres on the first day and the Trekking Miradores del Paine on the second day of the tour.

The tour also includes round trip transfer from Puerto Natales with pick-up and drop-off at your accommodation, trekking poles, crampons (if necessary) and meals as indicated in the itinerary.

Pick up in Puerto Natales

Your Torres del Paine 2 Day Tour begins with pick-up at your accommodation in Puerto Natales between 6:15 and 6:45 AM. Once the group is assembled, you'll head out by minibus toward Torres del Paine National Park. During the two-hour drive (about 75 miles / 120 km), your guide will go over the itinerary and share helpful insights about the hike to the Base Torres Viewpoint.

Your first stop will be the Laguna Amarga Entrance, where you'll register with your guide before entering the park. From there, you'll continue to the Welcome Center in the Central Sector—time to lace up your boots and hit the trail!

Trekking Mirador Base Torres with guide

The hike to the Base Torres Viewpoint is a round-trip trek on the same trail. The outbound hike covers about 6.8 miles (11 km) with an elevation gain of 2,460 feet (750 meters) and takes around 5 hours.

Early on, you’ll reach the Paso de los Vientos, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the Ascencio Valley. The trail continues to the Chilean Refugio, an ideal spot to rest and recharge.

From there, you’ll hike through a beautiful lenga forest before tackling the final, more technical stretch—crossing a rocky glacial moraine—until you reach the iconic Base Torres viewpoint. It’s the perfect place for a well-earned break and jaw-dropping views of the granite towers.

Return to Central Sector

After soaking in the views and enjoying your packed lunch, you’ll begin the descent on the same trail, which takes about 3 hours. The minibus will be waiting to take you to the Pehoé Campground.

You’ll arrive around 7:30 PM. Settle into your tent, enjoy a hot shower, and get ready for dinner, served at 8:00 PM in the campground’s restaurant.

DAY 2 Trekking Miradores del Paine - Puerto Natales

Wake up to scenic lake views at Pehoé Campground, nestled inside Torres del Paine National Park. Breakfast is served at 7:00 AM, and you'll also receive your lunch box before starting the day’s adventure.

On the second day of the Torres del Paine 2 Days tour you will do the Miradores del Paine Trekking leaving from the same campsite in the company of your guide. This tour alternates visits in the minibus with short hikes to reach the best viewpoints of the park.

What to bring to Torres del Paine 2-Day Hike tour

The weather in Patagonia is extreme and changeable. You can experience all four seasons in one day. In addition, during the summer (when the tour takes place), it will be common to encounter strong winds. Howlanders advises you to bring clothing for different climates, ideally the 3-layer system. Where does the tour Torres del Paine 2-Day Hike start

The tour begins in Puerto Natales. If you are traveling from Santiago de Chile the best method of arrival is by flying directly to Puerto Natales. The alternative is flying to Punta Arenas and then taking a bus (3:15 hours) to Puerto Natales Bus Station or booking a private transportation service with us.

Direct buses to Puerto Natales are available if traveling from El Calafate (Argentina) with about a 5-hour trip time. For ease, with us, you can book a transfer from El Calafate to Puerto Natales or a direct transfer between El Calafate and Torres del Paine.
