In natural areas we cannot guarantee exactly what species you will see, but we can assure you that it is one of the best places to see all these species: sea lions, turtles, white tip sharks, rays, fish and sometimes even penguins.

Do I have to be in a certain physical condition to be able to snorkel?

No! The only condition is that you know how to swim, but if you feel like exploring the sea, that's enough.

No previous experience is required to do the snorkeling activity, but it is essential to know how to swim to be able to do the tour.

The temperature of the water in the area where the snorkeling will take place allows the activity to be done without a wetsuit all year round.

Pinzon Island Day Tour

Meeting point 📍

The guide will be waiting for you at 8 am at the meeting point in Santa Cruz. Once the group is assembled, you will set sail from the dock in Puerto Ayora.

Pingüino Bay 🐧

After an hour and twenty minutes of navigation you will arrive at Pingüino Bay, also known as Pinzón Bay. Here you can enjoy the crystal clear waters and the great variety of marine life. Be prepared to see sea lions, turtles, white tip sharks, rays, fish and sometimes even penguins.

La Fe 🤿

Again you will board the boat for 30 minutes to go to Santa Fé Island, a beach located on the southeast coast of Santa Cruz with white sand and pristine water. Here you can snorkel again to continue watching fish or just relax with a swim on the beach.

Return to Puerto Ayora 🛥️

Between 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm you will be back in Puerto Ayora and put an end to the Pinzon Island Day Tour.
