Maras y Moray Tour
Duration: 6 hours

Pick-up at your accommodation
At 8:30 in the morning we will be picked up at our lodging. Once we are all together, we will head to the first stop of the Maras and Moray Tour: Chinchero.
Chinchero
We will arrive in Chinchero, where we will explore the ruins of the Royal Hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui and the colonial-era temple. The town of Chinchero is declared a Peruvian Historical Heritage Site and is home to an artisan market where we can see how llama wool is processed.
Salt mines
Our next stop will be the salt mines, located 52 km from the city of Cuzco. The entrance fee is not included in the price, but we can buy it for 10 soles. The guide will explain the whole process of salt extraction and we will have time to take pictures of this marvelous place.
Maras and Moray
Finally, we will arrive at the archaeological site of Maras and Moray. This place was used by the Quechuas as a laboratory to explore the agricultural crops of the different regions. Here we will have time to walk along the trails and feel the variation of climate depending on the depth of the terraces.
Then we will take the bus to return to the center of Cuzco at 03:00 P.M. and finish this incredible morning in the Maras y Moray Tour.
