CULTURAL AMANTANI ISLAND

The service, the respect of the schedule and the communication were on point. The local agency even called us at our hotel room during the night before to confirm the pick up time and answer our last minute questions. It was great, the boat captain was very nice. Our guide was okay. We were told this was a bilingual tour (English and Spanish) but explanation were more like 20% English and 80% Spanish. We also found that the guide was pushing the sales of the local products a bit much for our taste. Our hosts Juan-Carlos and Marisol on the Island were very friendly and welcoming. They cooked great local food and made sure that we were well integrated, even lent us local clothes to wear for the welcoming dance. We really had a great time with them and discovering the Islands on our own. We had the perfect timing as we visited during the big fiesta of the year, a big happening for them that starts at the biggening of august and ends mid august, allowing us to see their culture. For the whole experience we will recommend this tour.

¡Divertidísimo y muy emotivo! Un pueblo precioso y con gente muy hogareña y festiva. No me esperaba para nada un recibimiento tan bonito. Si buscas conocer nuevas culturas, vivir una nueva experiencia y disfrutar de paisajes espectaculares te lo recomiendo. ¡Un saludo a todo el pueblo de Amantani! :)
