Perito Moreno Kayak Tour

Pick-up in El Calafate

If you select the package with pick-up, you will be picked up at your accommodations in El Calafate at 10:30 am. When the whole group has been gathered, you’ll head to the meeting point located inside Los Glaciares National Park, arriving at approximately 1:00 pm.

Los Glaciares National Park

If you have selected the package without pick-up, you must go directly to the meeting point, located at the lower parking lot of the Perito Moreno Glacier, at the selected time. Upon arrival, the guide will be waiting for you to help you purchase the park entrance ticket. When the whole group is ready, an informative safety talk will be given, to provide basic knowledge of kayaking and enjoy the experience safely.

Kayaking Perito Moreno

Your guide will provide you with the necessary equipment to enjoy this activity: a Gore-Tex dry suit, thermal suit, boots, gloves, and life jacket. You will take a short walk to the shores of Lake Argentino where you will receive safety instructions and start warming up with some exercises.

🚣 Now the adventure begins! For an hour and a half, following the guide's instructions, you will kayak on Lake Argentino in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier, approaching small icebergs that have broken off the glacier wall (floes).

Return to the meeting point

At the end of the kayak tour in the Perito Moreno, you will return to the shores of Lake Argentino. After returning the equipment, hot drinks will be offered to warm you up. Then you’ll say goodbye to your guide.

Return to El Calafate:

If you select the package with pick-up, you will return to the meeting point inside Glaciers National Park, where they will be waiting to take you back to El Calafate.
