Important information
The minimum age to do the Kayak Perito Moreno tour is 14 years old.
It is not necessary to have previous kayaking experience to do this activity, but it is advisable to be in good physical shape.
Remember that Mastercard is not accepted to purchase the entrance ticket to Los Glaciares National Park. You can pay with VISA card or in cash in Argentine pesos when you arrive at the park. Do not forget your ID, passport or identity card.
🚣🚕 The kayaking activity is offered in two shifts, at 10 AM and at 1:50PM. The 10AM shift does not offer transfers from El Calafate, and you will need to arrive at the meeting point. The 1:50PM shift offers the option to include the transfer as an additional service. The transfer starts at 10:30AM and you will return to El Calafate around 7:00PM.

Tour itinerary
Perito Moreno Kayak Tour
Los Glaciares National Park
You must be at the meeting point at the indicated time. The guide will be waiting for you at the office, located in the lower car park of the Perito Moreno Glacier. The staff will welcome you and give you all the information you need to enjoy this experience.
Argentinean Lake
We’ll have to walk 165 yards (150m) from the parking lot to the shore of the Argentinean Lake, where we’ll do our last paddling practice before jumping in the water. During the kayak tour, which will take around an hour and a half depending on the weather conditions, we’ll paddle in our kayaks by the Perito Moreno Glacier and other icebergs floating in the water.
End of the activity
At the end of the kayak tour in the Perito Moreno, you will return to the shores of Lake Argentino, where you will say goodbye to the guide and the rest of the group with some snacks and hot drinks. In total the activity lasts 3 hours.
Additional information:
In case of including transfers from El Calafate, you will be picked up at 10:30 AM, you will do the kayaking activity at 2:00PM and return to El Calafate around 7:00PM.

Where does the tour Perito Moreno Kayak Tour start
The tour has two starting areas depending on the selected option
Tour with pick-up: you will be picked up at your accommodation in El Calafate. In case your accommodation is not included in the pick-up points (for example, an Airbnb), you will be indicated a meeting point a few minutes away from your accommodation.
Tour without pick-up: in this case you will have to go by your own means to the lower parking lot of Los Glaciares National Park. In the confirmation document of your reservation you will be sent the exact directions to get to this point.
