Your day begins with pickup from your accommodation in Ushuaia at around 7:00 AM, heading to the entrance of Tierra del Fuego National Park. If you’d like, you can start the adventure aboard the End of the World Train, which follows a historic railway once used by Ushuaia’s prison inmates and passes through stunning landscapes before rejoining the group inside the park.

If you choose not to take the train ride, you'll continue with your guide by bus to enter the national park, stopping at iconic spots like Ensenada Bay, Acigami (Roca) Lake, the Alakush Visitor Center, and Lapataia Bay. Along the way, you'll enjoy scenic viewpoints with unique vistas of the Beagle Channel and the Fuegian Andes. An experience that blends history, nature, and unforgettable landscapes at the end of the world.

Around noon, you’ll return to Ushuaia, where your guide will share recommendations for local restaurants and typical dishes so you can enjoy lunch on your own before continuing with your afternoon activities.

After lunch, make your own way to Ushuaia’s Tourist Port, located in the heart of the city, to board the Beagle Channel boat tour of your choice.

If you choose the Beagle Channel Boat Tour + Hiking on Bridges Islands, boarding time may vary between 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM depending on the season. The exact time will be confirmed on your reservation voucher.

Please arrive at the pier 40 minutes before departure. The port is easily reachable on foot from most accommodations in downtown Ushuaia.

Beagle Channel Boat Tour + Hiking on Bridges Islands

⏱️ Duration: 3 hours

Set sail along the Beagle Channel toward the iconic Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, cruising past the Bridges Islands, home to a variety of seabirds and sea lions. Then, step ashore on one of the islands for a guided mini-hike—an active experience that’s perfect for connecting with nature at the very end of the world. Along the way, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the channel and, in the distance, the Chilean coastline. The tour returns to port at around 6:00 PM.

Beagle Channel Boat Tour + Penguin Watching

Head east through the Beagle Channel, passing the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, Isla de los Pájaros, and Isla de los Lobos. The highlight of the journey comes at Martillo Island, where, from November to March, you can observe Magellanic and Gentoo penguin colonies in their natural habitat. From the deck, you’ll have plenty of time to watch and photograph them in one of the most remote and breathtaking settings on the planet. The tour returns to port at around 9:00 PM.
