During this one day tour you will travel in a 4x4 (7 seats, 6 passengers + the driver guide) to some of the most hidden and incredible places in Tierra del Fuego. You will see the spectacular Lago Escondido, Lake Fagnano and the beautiful, natural environment that surrounds them. You will be able to enjoy the wonderful views of the mountains in which you will adventure, crossing the less traveled paths to discover the wild nature of the southernmost lakes of the world.

Tour itinerary

DAY 1

8 : 30 AM

They will pick you up at your accommodation in Ushuaia between 8:30 and 9:00 in the morning. After a short journey by road you will cross an imposing glacial valley, reaching the Garibaldi Pass, the only road that crosses the Fueguinos Andes.

10 : 30 AM

From the top of the Cordillera you will have spectacular views of the beautiful Escondido Lake. This lake of glacial origin receives its name because of its location, as it is hidden in a deep valley in the heart of the mountains.

11 : 00 AM

You will continue by road to the northern area of Escondido Lake, where you will leave the asphalt and will enter the roads that once led to a sawmill. These trails are only transitable by our 4x4 vehicles that will take us to Lake Fagnano.

1 : 00 PM

You will be able to see beautiful routes with forests and incredible landscapes. People often admire spectacular mountains that surround the beautiful Lake Fagnano. You will then arrive at the refuge. While they prepare a delicious Creole food you will have time to take a walk through the forest and breathe in the fresh air.

3 : 30 PM

After the delicious food you will return to the 4x4 heading to Ushuaia. However, first, you will be able to continue your journey on the incredible route that offers you a landscape very few people have access to. You will also have the opportunity to see the cuts left on the trees from the beavers' sharp teeth. They use this tactic to help build reservoirs and nests for their families. An adventure in the middle of nature crossing very impressive landscapes.
