Briefing
With the Kayak Serrano River we will discover the Torres del Paine National Park and its surroundings. We will navigate among icebergs of the Grey and Serrano glaciers and enjoy the wonderful views of Grey Lake.
You can choose between a half day, with a 3 hour route, or a full day with a 6 hour route and the possibility of navigating between rapids for the more experienced kayakers.

Important information
This tour has an age restriction: travelers under 16 years old and over 65 years old are not allowed to take the tour. People weighing more than 100 kilos are not allowed to participate.
Departures are subject to weather conditions for safety reasons.

Kayak Serrano River
📍 Meeting point
Our kayaking adventure on the Serrano River will begin at the Nash Serrano Lodge, on the banks of the river and at the selected time. Once we are all gathered, the guide will hand out the necessary equipment for the activity and give us a brief safety talk, as well as explaining the basics of paddling.
Full day
Duration: 6 hours
Difficulty: medium-high
Distance: 30 km
Navigation among icebergs
We will begin the kayak route in the Pingo River sector, where we will spend an hour sailing among icebergs. Take the opportunity to take pictures! Afterwards, we will start the descent down the river, where we will enjoy privileged views of the Paine Massif.
Paddling the rapids
Weather permitting, we will paddle through rapids before heading to the well-known Grey Bridge. From here we will decide whether to finish the excursion or continue to the banks of the Serrano River.
Half day
Duration: 3 hours
Difficulty: medium
Grey Lake Navigation
The half-day option will start at the Pingo or Grey River, depending on weather conditions. During the excursion, we will sail around Grey Lake and the icebergs coming from the glacier, a spectacle for the eyes!
Descent down the Grey River
After enjoying the views of Grey Lake, we will begin our descent down the Grey River until we reach the Grey Bridge, where we will finish our kayak tour on the Serrano River.

Are there any restrictions for kayaking?
Yes, this activity is only available for travelers between 16 and 65 years old. On the other hand, it has a weight limit of 100 kilos to ensure the safety of the traveler in the kayak.Can the kayak be cancelled due to weather conditions?
Yes, if the weather conditions do not allow it, the activity will not take place and you will be offered a change of date or a refund of the amount paid, whichever you choose.
