At the agreed time, we will pick you up at the point of your choice and head to the interior of Iceland, specifically to the Fjallabak Nature Reserve, where you will be able to admire the breathtaking beauty of Landmannalaugar. This drive will take approximately 3 hours, during which you will enjoy the incredible views of the most remote areas of the country.

Stop in Hella

At 8:45 the 4x4 will make a stop in Hella. If you are going to start the tour in Hella, remember to be at the Bus Stop - Olís Petrol/Gas Station 10-15 minutes before to avoid delays. If you need to, you can also get off the minibus to make a last minute purchase of food or drinks.

Landmannalaugar Base Camp - Beginning of the trek

Once you arrive, you will begin a 5-hour hike (round trip) where you will be able to enjoy the most emblematic landscapes of Iceland. You will find vibrant colorful mountains, the result of volcanic activity, hot springs, lava fields and rivers that will take your breath away - don't forget to prepare your camera!

Landmannalaugar

As you walk, you will discover iconic places of Icelandic geography, such as the impressive Grænagil Canyon, Lake Ljótipollur and the colorful rhyolite mountains that rise above the lava fields of Laugahraun, Hrafntinnuhraun and Namshraun, among many other natural treasures. After three hours of hiking, we will make a longer stop so you can sit down, have something to eat and enjoy a drink. You will also have plenty of time to take as many pictures as you wish. Breathe in the fresh air and marvel at this masterpiece of nature. Then, you will walk a little more until you reach the natural pools.

Return to Reykjavik

After an hour of swimming, it will be time to return to Reykjavik. On the way, we will pass near Mount Hekla, one of the most active volcanoes in Iceland. Legend has it that this place was considered the gateway to hell, and today it is still feared for its propensity to erupt.
