Tour itinerary
DAY 1
Accommodation: Orquídeas de San Pedro Lodge
Pick up in Cusco and Paucartambo
The guide will pick us up at the hotel in Cusco between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m. We will start our 3 day Manu Tour and our first visit will be to the pre-Inca tombs and the beautiful colonial town of Paucartambo. We will continue with the route and stop for lunch along the way.

Cloud Forest and lodge
We will continue to the Cloud Forest, home to numerous endemic species such as the spectacled bear and the cock of the rock, the national bird of Peru. The flora is also spectacular, orchids, bromeliads, ferns, among other plant species. After enjoying these incredible landscapes we will continue our way to our lodge Orquídeas de San Pedro, where we will enjoy dinner and spend the night.

DAY 2
Accommodation: Erika Private Reserve
Andean cock of the rock and canoe
We will get up early to try to see the Cock of the Rock in their morning ritual, males and females gather and they dance for them. After this, we will have breakfast and head to the village of Pilcopata.
🛶 Here, we have the option to enjoy an hour and a half canoeing and swimming on the Koñeq or upper Madre de Dios rivers.

Puerto Atalaya and lodge
We will arrive at port Atalaya where we will start our boat ride. We will be able to see incredible bird species such as vultures, cormorants, and herons. We will arrive at the "Erika" Private Reserve and walk to the lodge where we will spend the night.

DAY 3
Parrot's clay lick 🦜
On our last day we will also get up early and after breakfast, we will take the boat to Parrot Clay Lick. This is a clay wall where different species of birds, especially macaws, come to scratch their salts and minerals.

Return to Cusco
After enjoying this colorful scenery, we will return to the lodge, pick up our luggage, and head towards the Port of Atalaya. The bus will be waiting for us, which will take us back to Cusco, ending the 3 day Manu tour.
