Valley of Fire Photography Tour
Las Vegas Pick-up
The Valley of Fire photography tour will begin with the pick up at your Las Vegas hotel. The mini bus will pick you up at 8:00 a.m. and the trip will begin! Valley of Fire State Park is located 55 miles (88 km) from Las Vegas, so in just one hour you will be there. We will enter the Park through the Valley of Fire Highway, designated as the Nevada Scenic Byway. When you see its impressive views, you will understand why.
Valley of Fire
Following the Valley of Fire highway we will cross the Moapa River Indian Reservation. There you will find amazing petroglyphs that will be present throughout the Park. Along the way through the Valley of Fire photography tour, we will make several stops where you will take unique photographs with the help of your guide. Mouse's Tank, Rainbow Vista, White Domes, Atlatl Rock, Arch Rock or Seven Sisters are the names of the most famous and spectacular formations in the Park. And they will be some of the mandatory stops of this private photo tour from Las Vegas.
Visitor Center - Lost City Museum
The best way to get to know the Valley of Fire State Park and soak up the indigenous culture is to visit its Visitor Center. At this stop, in addition to gathering information, we will visit the Lost City Museum, a small museum where you will learn more about the geology, ecology and history of Valley of Fire. The museum is built around the foundations of the ancient ruins of the Anasazi Village. We will take advantage of this stop to eat and recharge our batteries in front of a unique setting, before continuing our journey along the Valley of Fire photography tour.
Indian Petroglyphs
After lunch, we will continue our adventure through the Valley of Fire. Amazing indian petroglyphs are present throughout the Valley of Fire State Park. Mouse 's Tank and Atlatl Rock are two especially well preserved, where petroglyphs abound. These areas are relatively easy to access and will be our last stops before returning home today.
Return to Las Vegas
After spending the day amidst "flames of fire", we will set out for Las Vegas again. The red sandstone formations that predominate in the Park were formed from large dunes during the time of the dinosaurs. These formations appear to be on fire when they reflect the sun's rays. Around 3:00 p.m. the mini bus will drop you off at your hotel and we will end this mandatory visit during your trip to Las Vegas: Valley of Fire photohgraphy tour.
