We’ll pick you up between 7:00 and 7:45 a.m. to begin your full-day adventure into the heart of Torres del Paine National Park. As we travel along Route 9, you'll pass through sweeping Patagonian landscapes on your way to some of the most iconic sights in the region.

Sarmiento Lake and Paine Waterfall Viewpoint

Our first stop will be the Sarmiento Lake Viewpoint, offering early glimpses of the majestic Paine Massif. From there, we continue to the Paine Waterfall, where the Paine River flows powerfully through dramatic terrain.

Viewpoints and trekking in Grey Lake

Once inside the park, we’ll visit several unforgettable viewpoints:

  • Salto Grande, a thunderous waterfall connecting Lake Nordenskjöld and Lake Pehoé
  • Nordenskjöld Viewpoint, with postcard-perfect mountain backdrops
  • Camping Pehoé, where we’ll pause for a scenic lunch break surrounded by nature

Next, we head to the Grey Lake sector, where you’ll have the option to hike for about an hour through a native lenga forest to reach the lake’s edge. From there, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Grey Glacier and its floating icebergs, with the eastern face of the Paine Massif towering in the background.

Return through the Milodon Cave

On our way back to Puerto Natales, we’ll make a final stop at the Milodon Cave Natural Monument—a fascinating prehistoric site where the remains of the extinct Milodon, a giant ground sloth, were discovered.

We return to Puerto Natales around 6:30 p.m., closing the day with memories of dramatic landscapes, glacial wonders, and Patagonian history.

We’ll leave between 6:15 and 6:45 a.m. from your hotel in Puerto Natales for one of the most iconic hikes in the world: the Base Torres trek in Torres del Paine National Park.

After entering the park, we’ll stop at the Las Torres Reserve Welcome Center. Here, our guides will lead a short briefing before starting the adventure.

Start of Base Torres trekking

This demanding yet unforgettable 13.7-mile (22 km) round-trip hike takes about 8 hours and covers a variety of landscapes: native forests, rivers, valleys, and rugged glacial moraines.

You’ll be accompanied by experienced guides throughout the route, offering local insight, support, and encouragement as you make your way through one of Patagonia’s most stunning trails.

Today we take Route Y-290 toward Torres del Paine National Park, entering via Serrano Gate, with beautiful scenery unfolding along the way.

Once in the area, we begin a short hike (approx. 45 minutes) to the dock at Grey Lake, where we board the Grey III catamaran for one of the most spectacular excursions in the park.

During the 2.5-hour navigation, you'll cruise past massive floating icebergs and enjoy front-row views of the Grey Glacier, part of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. The landscape is dramatic and otherworldly, with jagged ice, open water, and towering peaks.
