Sail from Drake Bay to Sirena where our Corcovado 2 Day Tour will begin. You will have the opportunity to walk through a forest full of tapirs and other animals. Although it is two days of intense hiking through the jungle, we assure you that it will be worth it. Spending the night in the park, you can live a complete experience, traveling to the Claro River and through different jungle trails.

Important information
Corcovado National Park has a very limited capacity, with only 100 people per day. It is one of the most biodiverse areas on the planet, so it is important to be extremely respectful with the environment and not leave the trails. In order to see as many animals as possible, it is key to be quiet and attentive to everything around you.
During the boat ride, there can be up to 16 people. Once we get to the park, the group will split in two (maximum of 8 people). During the boat trip, people who are prone to seasickness may get seasick.
Cancellation policy
You will receive a 50% refund of your reservation if you cancel at least 72 hours before the tour start date. After this time, or in case of no-show, no refunds will be given.
Tour itinerary
Day 1 Drake Bay - Sirena - Biological Station
Departure in Drake Bay
At 6:00 a.m. our guide will be waiting for you with the rest of the group and our boat. Try to arrive at least 15 minutes early to avoid waiting. For 2 hours, we will sail along the coast until we reach Corcovado.
Corcovado Hike
We will start a short hike from Sirena beach to the Biological Station. There we will be able to leave our luggage and start a 3 and a half hour hike through the Corcovado forest. In the middle of the tour, we will stop for lunch before returning to the station.
Excursion to the Claro River
In the afternoon we will set off again on foot with the Claro River as our destination. Relax, we will have plenty of time for a swim in its crystal clear waters. We will return to the Biological Station for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 Biological Station - Sirena - Drake Bay
Early morning excursion
We wake up early for an early morning hike from 5:30 to 7:00 a.m. This is the ideal time to observe the first flights of birds and other animals.
Hike through the forest
After breakfast and rest, we will head back out into the forest to explore the last remaining areas to be discovered. Tapirs are the most popular animal in the park, but you may encounter other animals such as sloths, monkeys, all kinds of birds and even jaguars.
Return to Drake Bay
After this unforgettable hiking experience on the Corcovado 2 Day Tour, it will be time to return to Drake Bay. We will have lunch and set sail by boat to end our trip where we started.

The easiest way to get to Drake Bay is by car. This option is very common among travelers, as Costa Rica is a recommended country to rent a car and drive around freely. The road to Drake Bay is being improved with different bridges, so depending on the route you take you will have to cross some small streams or bridges. If you travel by public transport, you will have to combine bus with a taxi-boat to take you to Drake Bay

Why does the boat trip take so long? There are few roads in this area of the Osa Peninsula, so the only way to reach the entrance to the park is by boat. The boat is totally safe and equipped with life jackets. Along the way, if you're lucky, you may even see dolphins jumping alongside the boat.How to get to the meeting point on the beach?

Being a natural area, we cannot guarantee that you will see all the animals, but we can say that Corcovado is home to many animals, such as the jaguar, puma, monkeys (marmoset, araá, congo, and white-faced), pizote, macaws, anteaters, sloths, tapir and many more!
