It is one of the most biodiverse areas on the planet, so it is important to be extremely respectful with the environment and not leave the trails. In order to see as many animals as possible, it is key to be quiet and attentive to everything around you.

During the boat ride, there can be up to 16 people. Once we get to the park, the group will split in two (maximum of 8 people). During the boat trip, people who are prone to seasickness may get seasick.

Cancellation policy

Questions & Answers

  • Why does the boat trip take so long?

Why does the boat trip take so long? There are few roads in this area of the Osa Peninsula, so the only way to reach the entrance to the park is by boat. The boat is totally safe and equipped with life jackets. Along the way, if you're lucky, you may even see dolphins jumping alongside the boat.
  • How to get to the meeting point on the beach?

Walking, :) Agujitas de Drake is such a small village that you will get there in less than 5 minutes. In the confirmation email, you will receive the exact meeting point, so you won't have any doubts.
  • Can you pick me up at an accommodation that is not in Agujitas de Drake?

Yes, it is possible to pick you up at different points along the route between Agujitas and Corcovado, just email us indicating your accommodation, and we will confirm where the pickup point will be.
  • Any other tips for enjoying the Corcovado National Park tour?

Here's one more! If on the day of the tour you don't want to prepare your breakfast or your accommodation doesn't serve it so early, you can always have a coffee and some empanadas at the “Food Truck Gaby” which is right on the beach, just 3 minutes from the meeting point. Tasty and cheap!
  • What animals will I be able to see on the tour?

Being a natural area, we cannot guarantee that you will see all the animals, but we can say that Corcovado is home to many animals, such as the jaguar, puma, monkeys (marmoset, araá, congo, and white-faced), pizote, macaws, anteaters, sloths, tapir and many more!
