Ólafsvík Whale Watching
📍 Meeting point
This amazing experience starts at our meeting point at Norðurtangi 9, 355 Ólafsvík. Once the group is assembled, our guide will provide us with overalls to keep us warm and dry as we will be sailing out into an open fjord, so you need to be warm. Ready to see some whales? Here we go!

🐳 Whale watching
We will board our boat, it is a twin-engine boat which makes for smooth sailing. We will go into the sea for about 3 hours to see the diverse marine fauna. It is only possible to see orcas, sperm whales and pilot whales at the coast of Snaefellsnes. In addition to these species, we will also have the chance to see humpback whales, minke whales and white-beaked dolphins. When we see a whale, the boat will get as close as possible without disturbing the whales.

Return
After finishing our tour along the coast of the Snaefellsnes peninsula admiring these incredible mammals, we will return to the port. Once there, we will get off the boat and take off our monkeys, ending this unique experience.
