It is unlikely that you will not get to see dolphins or whales during this tour. If this is the case, another day of the tour is offered free of charge and can be enjoyed for the next two years.

📍 Meeting point

We will arrive at the meeting point in Reykjavík's Old Harbor at least 30 minutes before the selected time. At the office, we will be given our tickets for the boat, and we will be given directions to the Visitor Center where we will be equipped with overalls to keep us warm. It's time to set sail!

Whale watching

Once on the boat, we enter Faxaflói Bay for the adventure. The variety of marine fauna we will encounter depends on the season and our luck. From birds such as puffins and gannets to humpback whales and minke whales, as well as white-beaked dolphins and porpoises. With a little luck, we may also see orcas, sei whales and long-finned pilot whales, although these species are more difficult to see 🐋.

Return to the port
