Tour itinerary
Northern Lights Cruise Reykjavik
Season: from September 1st to April 15th
Duration: 2 - 2,5 hours
📍 Meeting point
We will go to the meeting point located in Reykjavik Old Harbour at least 30 minutes before the departure of our boat. There are two departure times depending on the season, at 10:00 p.m. from September 1st to September 30th and from March 15th to April 15th; and at 9:00 p.m. from October 1st to March 14th.

Seeing the Northern Lights
We will board the boat that will take us into Faxaflói Bay in search of the magnificent Northern Lights. As we enter the sea and its darkness, we will leave behind the city lights of Reykjavík, which makes it difficult to see the northern lights. We will search for the northern lights near the coast and around the islands, away from the city lights, in the dark.
⚠️Departures This tour departs every day, even if there is a forecast of full clouds, this can change in minutes to clear skies. If we do not manage to see the northern lights, we offer to try again until you manage to see them.

Return to Reykjavík
After spending 2 to 2.5 hours at sea searching for and admiring this phenomenon, we will return to Reykjavik's Old Harbour, where we will end this boat trip with the Northern Lights in the background.
