The 13 days Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar african safari is the most complete trip to explore the wild side of Kenya and Tanzania, and also relax on the paradisiacal beaches of Zanzibar. Have you already packed your suitcase?
Embark on a journey of 13 days and 12 nights in which you will discover the cities of Nairobi, Arusha and the stone town of Zanzibar. And you will travel aboard a 4x4 convertible to the reserves of Masai Mara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. And the best will be for the end with 4 days of absolute relaxation at Kendwa Beach in Zanzibar.
You will sleep two nights in Nairobi, two nights in Masai Mara, two nights in Serengeti, one night in Arusha, four nights in Zanzibar Beach and one night in Zanzibar Stone Town.

Important information
The tour includes transfers to and from Nairobi and Zanzibar airports to the cities of Arusha and Zanzibar respectively, adapted to your flight schedules. The tour includes the flight between Arusha and Zanzibar in economy class but does not include international flights to and from Africa.
This tour includes the border crossing from Kenya to Tanzania through the Isbania Border land border crossing. It is the traveler's responsibility to comply with all immigration requirements and COVID-19 regulations for entry, exit and travel in both countries.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation! If you cancel at least 30 days before the start of the tour, you will receive 100% of the amount paid. If you cancel between 29 and 15 days before the tour starts, you will receive 80% of the paid amount. If you cancel between 15 and 8 days before the start of the tour, you will receive 50% of the paid amount. After this time, or in case of no-show, no refunds will be made.
The tickets included in the tour are nominative and non-refundable.

DAY 1 Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport - Nairobi

Pick-up from Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
The guide will be waiting for you at Jomo Kenyatta airport to take you to the Tamarind Tree Nairobi hotel.
The arrival time of each traveler is different. The tour does not include meals on the first day. If you want to add more services, please contact us after making your reservation.
DAY 2 Nairobi - Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage - Giraffe Center Nairobi

Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage
After breakfast, the guide will pick you up at the hotel to start your adventure in Kenya.
Your first stop will be the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage in Nairobi, an elephant orphanage with a program to rescue and care for baby elephants orphaned by poaching.
It is located 15 kilometers from the city center next to the Nairobi National Park, and the entrance fee (included in the tour) is entirely for the benefit of its organization.
The Carnivore Restaurant Nairobi
At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to The Carnivore Restaurant Nairobi for a delicious local meal, also included in the tour.
Carnivore is an open-air restaurant located in the suburb of Langata. Its specialty is meat, and it offers an all-you-can-eat buffet.
Giraffe Center Nairobi
In the afternoon, you will visit the Giraffe Center Nairobi. This center is also located in Langata, just 5 km from the city center, and was opened in 1983 to protect the endangered giraffe Camelopardalis Rothschildi, which is only found in the grasslands of East Africa.
From Howlanders we consider that it is very important and enriching for our travelers to understand the danger that these animals run and thus appreciate and respect them in the reserves that will be visited in the next days of the trip to Kenya and Tanzania.
DAY 3 Nairobi - Masai Mara

Masai Mara National Park
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning, and you will head to the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will arrive in the early afternoon and start the first photographic safari of this trip.
After the safari, you will head to Enkorok Mara Camp where you will spend the next two nights of your trip to Kenya.
DAY 4 Masai Mara

Masai Mara National Park
The Kenyan adventure continues. In the company of your local guide, today you will have a full day safari in the Masai Mara. You will spend the whole day touring the reserve and enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge or a picnic lunch in the middle of the African savannah.

DAY 5 Masai Mara - Serengeti

After breakfast, and in the company of the guide, you will travel to the border between Kenya and Tanzania Isbania Border. Upon arrival, you will go through the formalities with the help of the guide and change trucks and guides to continue your journey through Tanzania.

Safari Serengeti National Park
Upon arrival, you will embark on a half-day safari with your Tanzanian guide. At the end, you will board your private vehicle and head to Mawe Tented Camp or Wildebeest Tented Camp, where you will spend the next two nights. An unforgettable experience awaits you sleeping in the heart of the Serengeti.

DAY 6 Serengeti

Full-Day Serengeti Safari
Early in the morning, you will have breakfast overlooking the African savannah. And with your belly full and your batteries recharged, you will start your full day safari in the Serengeti in the company of your Tanzanian guide.
Day 6 objective: find the Big Five.
DAY 7 Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater Safari
You will leave the Serengeti behind and head for the Ngorongoro Crater. You will descend to its base and go on a 4-hour safari aboard the 4x4 convertible.
In the afternoon, you will start your journey to Arusha, the second largest city in Tanzania. Here you will spend the seventh night of your journey through Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar.
DAY 8 Arusha - Kilimanjaro Airport JRO - Zanzibar

After breakfast, and depending on the departure time of your flight, a private vehicle will take you to Kilimanjaro International Airport. There you will take the flight to Zanzibar (economy class) included in the tour.

Upon arrival at the Zanzibar airport, a private vehicle will be waiting to take you to Kendwa Rocks Hotel. Four days of disconnection among palm trees and white sandy beaches begin.

The Kendwa Rocks Hotel is surrounded by lush gardens, and has its own private beach. Its rooms overlook the Indian Ocean. All are equipped with local furnishings, air conditioning, fan, private bathroom, digital safe and mosquito nets.
Breakfast is served in the morning in the hotel dining room and is included in the tour. In addition, Kendwa Rocks also has a restaurant serving international and Swahili cuisine where you can taste real delicacies.
At the beach you will find the Mermaid bar, where you can try a wide variety of exotic cocktails. In the evenings they offer live music and nightly entertainment.
DAY 12 Zanzibar Stone Town
