The 8-day Kenya and Tanzania Safari is the most complete express package you will find to explore the secrets of Kenya and Tanzania.
Learn about the danger faced by two of the African Big Five and how to appreciate and respect them before starting this adventure by visiting the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and the Nairobi Giraffe Center. Your trip to Kenya and Tanzania will continue aboard the open top 4x4 through the Masai Mara Reserve in Kenya, and the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater reserves in Tanzania.
You will sleep two nights in Nairobi, two nights in Masai Mara, two nights in the Serengeti and one night in Arusha.

Important information
The tour includes transfers to and from Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta and Kilimanjaro JRO airports to the cities of Nairobi and Arusha, adapted to your flight schedules. The tour does not include international flights to and from Africa.
This tour includes the border crossing from Kenya to Tanzania through the Isbania Border land border crossing. It is the traveler's responsibility to comply with all immigration requirements and COVID-19 regulations for entry, exit and travel in both countries.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation! If you cancel at least 30 days before the start of the tour, you will receive 100% of the amount paid. If you cancel between 29 and 15 days before the tour starts, you will receive 80% of the amount paid. If you cancel between 15 and 8 days before the start of the tour, you will receive 50% of the paid amount. After this time, or in case of no-show, no refunds will be made.
The tickets included in the tour are nominative and non-refundable.

DAY 1 Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport - Nairobi

The guide will be waiting for you upon arrival at the airport to take you to the Tamarind Tree Nairobi hotel.

DAY 2 Nairobi - Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage - Giraffe Center Nairobi

Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage 🐘
After breakfast at the hotel, the guide will pick you up to start your adventure in Africa.
You will visit the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage in Nairobi, an elephant orphanage focused primarily on a rescue and care program for baby elephants orphaned by poaching.
It belongs to the organization "David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust" which fights for the protection of wildlife in East Africa. The orphanage is located next to the Nairobi National Park, 15 kilometers from the city center, and the entrance fee (included in the tour) is entirely for the benefit of the organization.
The Carnivore Restaurant Nairobi
After the visit, you will be transferred to The Carnivore Restaurant Nairobi for a tasty local meal, also included in the tour.
Giraffe Center Nairobi 🦒
In the afternoon, you will enjoy the second excursion of the day and visit the Giraffe Center Nairobi. This center is located in Langata, just 5 km from the city center, and was opened in 1983 to protect the endangered giraffe Giraffa Camelopardalis Rothschildi, which is only found in the grasslands of East Africa.

DAY 3 Nairobi - Masai Mara

Masai Mara National Park
Early in the morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and you will head to the Masai Mara National Park. You will arrive at the reserve in the early afternoon and start your first photographic safari of this trip - eyes wide open!
After the safari, you will head to Enkorok Mara Camp where you will spend the next two nights of your trip to Kenya.
DAY 4 Masai Mara

Masai Mara National Park
The adventure continues. In the company of your local guide, today you will enjoy your first full day safari in the Masai Mara. You will spend the whole day touring this spectacular reserve and have a delicious lunch at the lodge or picnic lunch in the middle of the African savannah.

DAY 5 Masai Mara - Serengeti

After breakfast, and in the company of the guide, you will travel to Isbania Border, the border between Kenya and Tanzania. Upon arrival you will go through the formalities with the help of the guide and you will change trucks and guides to continue your journey through Tanzania.
Start your adventure in Tanzania with a trip to the Serengeti National Park.
Safari Serengeti National Park
Upon arrival, you will embark on your first half-day safari in Tanzania in the company of your Tanzanian guide. At the end you will board your private vehicle and head to Mawe Tented Camp or Wildebeest Tented Camp, where you will spend the next two nights. A unique experience awaits you sleeping in the heart of the Serengeti.

DAY 6 Serengeti

Full-Day Serengeti Safari
Early in the morning, you will enjoy a unique breakfast in the middle of the African savannah. And with your belly full and your batteries recharged, you will start your full day safari in the Serengeti in the company of your guide.

DAY 7 Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
Accommodation: Gran Melia / Mount Meru Hotel

Ngorongoro Crater Safari
You will leave the Serengeti behind and head for the Ngorongoro Crater. You will descend to the base of the crater and go on a 4-hour safari aboard a 4x4 vehicle.
In the afternoon, you will drive to Arusha, the second largest city in Tanzania. Here you will spend the last night of your safari in Kenya and Tanzania.
DAY 8 Arusha - Kilimanjaro International Airport JRO

Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport JRO
After breakfast, and depending on the departure time of your flight, a private vehicle will take you to Kilimanjaro International Airport, putting an end to this adventure.

The pick up and drop-off service to the airport is private. The guide will pick you up at the arrival of your flight and will take you back in time for your return flight.
