The 6 Day Safari in Tanzania is the perfect adventure if you are traveling to Africa just in time.
During the tour you will do a safari in the Tarangire National Park, two safaris in the Serengeti National Park and a safari in the Ngorongoro Crater. All of them accompanied by a local guide that will make your trip to Tanzania a unique experience.
You will spend two nights in the city of Arusha, one night at Eileen's Trees Inn in Karatu and two nights in the heart of the Serengeti at Mawe Tented Camp or Wildebeest Tented Camp (depending on availability). The adventure begins! 🦁

Important information
The tour includes transfers to and from Kilimanjaro International Airport JRO to the city of Arusha according to your flight time. International flights to and from Africa are not included.
It is the traveler's responsibility to comply with all immigration requirements and COVID-19 regulations for entering and leaving the country.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation! If you cancel at least 30 days before the start of the tour, you will receive 100% of the amount paid. If you cancel between 29 and 15 days before the tour starts, you will receive 80% of the paid amount. If you cancel between 15 and 8 days before the start of the tour, you will receive 50% of the paid amount. After this time, or in case of no-show, no refunds will be made.
The tickets included in the tour are nominative and non-refundable.

DAY 1 Kilimanjaro International Airport JRO - Arusha

Pick up at Kilimanjaro International Airport JRO
The guide will be waiting for you upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport to take you to your hotel in Arusha. It's time to rest and get your strength back, the 6 day safari in Tanzania begins.
💬 As the arrival time of each traveler is different, the tour does not include meals on the first day. If you want to add dinner at the hotel in Arusha, please contact us after making your reservation.
DAY 2 Arusha - Tarangire National Park - Karatu

Tarangire National Park
After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel in Arusha, you will start your journey to Tarangire National Park, one of the most spectacular parks in the country. Characterized mainly by the ease of spotting herds of elephants. Keep your camera handy, you don't see this every day.
You will enjoy a half-day safari in Tarangire, the sixth largest national park in Tanzania. The safaris are conducted in 4x4 vans with folding roof and always accompanied by a guide.

Karatu
After enjoying this first contact with nature, in the afternoon, you will travel in your private vehicle to Karatu, where you will spend the second night of your safari in Tanzania.

DAY 3 Karatu - Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti National Park

Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast at the lodge, you will head towards the best national park in Africa: the Serengeti. On the way you will make a photo stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint. The largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera in the world.
And you will follow the route by car bordering it. Get ready to admire a landscape from another world.
Serengeti National Park
Before arriving at the park, you can make a second stop at a Masai village. This visit is not included in the tour, but from Howlanders we definitely recommends adding this experience to your safari.
Upon arrival in the Serengeti you will enjoy the second safari of this trip aboard the Landcruiser 4x4. Which feline will be waiting for you today?
Mawe Tented Camp or Wildebeest Tented Camp
At the end of the safari, and accompanied by your guide, you will board your private vehicle and head to the camp where you will spend the next two nights. Get ready to enjoy a unique experience sleeping in the heart of the Serengeti National Park in one of the two camps.

DAY 4 Serengeti National Park

Full-Day Serengeti Safari
Today we have to get up early, but we promise it will be the best early start of your life. Early in the morning, you will enjoy a unique breakfast in the middle of the African savannah. And with your belly full and your batteries charged, you will start your full day safari in the Serengeti in the company of your guide.
Day 4 objective: find the Big Five. 🐘🦁🦏🐆🐂
DAY 5 Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater Safari
You will leave the fascinating Serengeti behind and head back to Ngorongoro. This time, you will descend to the base of Ngorongoro for a 4-hour safari on board a 4x4 vehicle.
In the afternoon, you will return to Arusha, the second largest city in Tanzania. Here you will spend the last night of your safari in Tanzania.
💬 Dinner on the fifth night of the tour is not included. Take the opportunity to discover the local gastronomy following the advice of your guide.
DAY 6 Arusha - Kilimanjaro International Airport JRO

Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport JRO
After breakfast, and depending on the departure time of your flight, a private vehicle will take you to Kilimanjaro International Airport, putting an end to this adventure.
If your flight departs later and you would like to add another meal or activity to this last day of the safari, please contact us after booking and we will inform you of the available options.
