This day trip to Ngorongoro crater adventure begins with pick up from your hotel at 6:30 am. From Karatu we will be driven directly to the main entrance of the Ngorongo Crater. The distance is about 9.2 mi (15 km).

Viewpoint and Ngorongoro Crater

Before entering the crater, we will pass by a beautiful viewpoint from where we can see the entire crater and take wonderful pictures. We will then descend into the crater and begin our safari. We will experience seeing a variety of different wild animals at a distance of 3,28 ft (1 m). With a little luck, we will be able to see the big five.

Lunch and return

Around 1:00 p.m. we will enjoy lunch in the hippo pool area. With a full stomach, we will ascend the crater to return to Karatu. The Day Trip to Ngorongoro crater comes to an end around 6:00 p.m. at the lodge, an unforgettable day.
