Perito Moreno footbridges and boat tour

This is a great trip. Our guide was very knowledgable about the natural history and geology of the region. We were picked up a little late at 0830 but efficiently transferred to Punte Bandera to board the boat. We were the only boat on the lake for much of the time. Our first stop was to learn about the forest which involved 2 short walks. The second stop was a longer hike to a beautiful viewpoint of waterfalls and glaciers. We filled our bottle with the lovely water. We then had a hour on the boat as we went to Perito Moreno glacier. During this time we had lunch. Tea and water was provided and there was a microwave to heat food. There were two toilets both very clean. The approach to the glacier was stunning as we saw it get larger and the blue icebergs came into view. We disembarked at the balconies and had plenty of time to walk to the top have a coffee and walk back although there are buses for those who do not want to walk. The views from the balconies were incredible and we could hear the sound of pieces of ice breaking off the glacier into the lake. We re boarded the boat around 4 pm and it was an hour back to port and another hour back to our hotel.
