📍 Meeting point

The Sapphire blue ice cave tour in Iceland starts at 10:30 am next to the cafeteria in Jökulsárlón. When the whole group is assembled, our guide will brief us on the route and we will get into the super jeeps to start the adventure. During the ride, the guide will share with us his knowledge about the area and Icelandic culture.

Sapphire blue ice cave

Once we arrive at the Sapphire blue ice cave, the guide will give us all the safety equipment to be able to enter. When we are ready, we will enter the cave and explore the deep crystalline blue tones of the cave for approximately 45 minutes. We will also explore other smaller caves that change more frequently, so don't forget your camera and capture Iceland's incredible glacial formations!

Breiðamerkurjökull Glacier

After seeing the Sapphire ice cave, we will continue our route to the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier. We will walk on the ice with crampons on and get in touch with nature by feeling the ancient ice under our feet.
