Whale watching

Once we have spotted the whales, the boat will switch to a silent electric motor to minimize disturbance to the whales and you will spend some time with these giants of the sea. You can take all the photos and videos you want but remember that these animals are very sensitive to noise, so be careful because the guide will explain it to you!

Questions & Answers

  • How close will we be to the whales?

Our whale watching and animal welfare philosophy focuses on minimum disturbance and interruption. Therefore, you will be able to observe the animals at close range depending on their reaction to our presence.

  • Does the tour include food and beverages?

No, but you can buy food and drinks at the ship's cafeteria and pay directly there.

  • How long will we be whale watching?

Everything will depend on the time it takes to find them, but normally we will be there for an hour and a half.

  • How many whales can be seen in a single trip?

If you are very lucky you might see hundreds of them. However, this is a rare manifestation of nature. On a normal day, you will see both orcas and humpback whales. On a good day, you may see groups of orcas of 15 to 20 individuals, plus 3 or 4 humpback whales.
