Pick up in Tromso and boarding
Our guide will be waiting for you at the meeting point at the scheduled time to board the silent hydroelectric boat, which has been specially designed to enhance the marine animal viewing experience. Your destination is a whale watcher's dream; the feeding grounds of humpback whales, fin whales and killer whales. This tour will last approximately 3 and a half hours.
Whale watching
The captain of the boat and the rest of the crew will be very attentive to the whales as it sometimes takes a bit longer to spot them but our guides will show you all the tricks they have. While looking for the whales, the guide will share interesting stories of the Tromsø area and the interesting sights you can see of the fjords.
Whale watching
Once we have spotted the whales, the boat will switch to a silent electric motor to minimize disturbance to the whales and you will spend some time with these giants of the sea. You can take all the photos and videos you want but remember that these animals are very sensitive to noise, so be careful because the guide will explain it to you!
Return to Tromso
Finally, our captain will set sail back to Tromso and we will dock at the pier closest to the meeting point after 8 or 9 hours from the start of the tour.

Questions & Answers
How close will we be to the whales?
Our whale watching and animal welfare philosophy focuses on minimum disturbance and interruption. Therefore, you will be able to observe the animals at close range depending on their reaction to our presence.
Does the tour include food and beverages?
No, but you can buy food and drinks at the ship's cafeteria and pay directly there.
How long will we be whale watching?
Everything will depend on the time it takes to find them, but normally we will be there for an hour and a half.
How many whales can be seen in a single trip?
If you are very lucky you might see hundreds of them. However, this is a rare manifestation of nature. On a normal day, you will see both orcas and humpback whales. On a good day, you may see groups of orcas of 15 to 20 individuals, plus 3 or 4 humpback whales.
Is this tour suitable for the whole family?
Of course. This tour is 100% family friendly and can be done by anyone regardless of age or physical condition.
