Tour itinerary
DÍA 1 Cusco - Cachorra - Cocamasana- Rosalina Beach
Difficulty: Moderate - 9 Km (Capulilloc - Playa Rosalina)
Initial altitude: 2780 masl
Maximum altitude: 3030 masl
Playa Rosalina campsite altitude: 1540 masl
In the morning, transportation will pick you up at the hotel to go to the town of Cachora, where breakfast will be provided. After breakfast, equipment for the hike will be distributed. Only one backpack should be carried per person, so be sure to pack your necessities.
After two hours of trekking, we will arrive at Capuliyoc, which has an altitude of 2,910 meters. From here, you will see that the views of the Wayna Cachorra, and the Padriyoc mountains, and the Apuriac Valley are truly inspiring. After the descent to Coca Masana begins, you can start to see the changes in wildlife and climate. Day one will finish in Rosalina Beach, where you will spend the night in your tent under the stars.

DÍA 2 Rosalina Beach - Choquequirao
Difficulty: High - 15 Km (Playa Rosalina - Choquequirao)

Day two will start with a breakfast and preparation of a five-hour ascent to Rayanpata. We will stop to eat lunch and rest by the Chunchullymayo river, then continue our trek towards Choquequirao During those two hours of the trek, you will have the chance to observe a great variety of precious orchids and different species of birds flying around us. You will then be able to see the magical sunset in Choquequirao as you set up camp to spend the night.
DÍA 3 Choquequirao - Rayampata - Chiquisca - Cocamasana
Difficulty: High - 14 Km (Choquequirao - Cocamasana)

Maximum altitude: 3030 masl
Cocamasana campsite altitude: 2030 masl
After visiting the impressive archaeological ruins of the Inca city in Choquequirao, we will continue the descent to the Apurimac river. This is where we will stop to eat lunch. Afterwards, the trek will continue with hiking a four-hour ascent to the Coca Masana camp, where we will spend the night.

DÍA 4 Cocamasana - Cachora - Cusco
Difficulty: Easy - 10 Km (Cocamasana - Capuliyoc)
Initial altitude: 2030 masl
Maximum altitude: 2780 masl
The last day of the trek, you will start to see the stunning landscape that the Apurimac river canyon offers us. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful in South America. Then we will cross the canyon gorge. From there, you can enjoy incredible views of the Waynaqally. After being captivated by the unique scenery, we will arrive at the town of Cachora. We will take transportation that will bring you back to Cusco.
