The tour begins at the meeting point located at Koskikatu 1, Rovaniemi. However, pickup can also be arranged at the following locations:

Please note: To drive a snowmobile, the minimum age is 18 and a valid driver’s license is required.

Children under 12 will ride in sleighs pulled by snowmobiles driven by the guides. If they prefer not to ride in the sleigh, they can ride as passengers on a snowmobile if they are at least 140 cm tall and pay the adult fare. Children under 3 years old are not permitted.

Pricing is per person, not per vehicle. So if you want to share a snowmobile with a companion, you must purchase two adult tickets for a shared snowmobile. If you prefer to ride solo, you should purchase one adult ticket for a single snowmobile.

Once you're suited up with thermal gear, gloves, boots, and a helmet, your guide will welcome you and give a quick briefing on how to operate the snowmobiles. They’re intuitive and easy to handle—even for first-timers. Just follow the guide’s instructions to stay safe throughout the ride.

For approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, you'll cruise through the icy landscapes of Lapland. The guide will set the pace and assist along the way. You'll ride across snow-covered trails, surrounded by majestic Arctic trees—and if you're lucky, it might start snowing during your journey!

Visit to a reindeer farm

Next, you’ll arrive at a traditional reindeer farm. You'll have the chance to feed the reindeer and learn about the fascinating world of reindeer herding. Those who pass the reindeer driving test will receive their International Reindeer Driving License. You’ll also be invited to take part in a special Sámi Arctic Circle crossing ceremony.
