Important information
Please note that the minimum age to drive a snowmobile is 18 years old and you must have a valid driver's license.
Children under 12 years old will ride on sleds pulled by snowmobiles driven by the guides. In case they do not want to go on the sled, they can ride as passengers on the snowmobiles if they are 140 centimeters or taller and pay the adult rate. Children under 3 years old are not allowed.
Regarding the prices, they are always shown per person, not per vehicle, so if you want to share a snowmobile with your companion, you will have to buy 2 adult tickets for a shared snowmobile. If in your case you prefer to go alone on the snowmobile, then you must purchase 1 adult ticket on an individual snowmobile.
The northern lights are a natural phenomenon so we can not guarantee 100% visibility but the guide will find the best place to locate them. Otherwise, he will make your experience still unique and worthwhile.

Duration: 4-5 hours depending on the time it takes to find the northern lights.

Pick up at your accommodation and transfer to the starting point of the tour.
At the appointed time, we will pick you up at your accommodation and you will board a minibus to the starting point where the snowmobile tour will begin. The tour lasts 20-30 minutes and will allow you to experience the magic of the Lapland night.
Explanation on how to drive the snowmobiles.
When you arrive at the starting point of the tour, the guide will welcome you and hand out thermal clothing, gloves, boots and helmet, essential to be able to drive the snowmobiles! Afterwards, he will briefly explain how these vehicles work. You will see that they are very intuitive and easy to handle, even if you have no previous experience. Always follow the guide's instructions to avoid any incident.
Driving a snowmobile under the Northern Lights
Let the adventure begin! For about an hour you will drive in the vastness of the dark forests of Lapland. The guide will show you the best route to get close to the area most likely to see aurorae, so keep your eyes peeled! When we have found the best location, we will make a stop where you can rest, enjoy the starry sky with the northern lights and take all the pictures you want. If you have brought something to eat, you will also be able to enjoy it at this time.
Remember that the viewing of the Northern Lights cannot be 100% guaranteed, as it depends on the weather conditions of each day.
Return to Rovaniemi

Rovaniemi is located near the Arctic Circle, so it has a cold climate almost all year round, reaching temperatures below zero in the winter months (November-March).
