Once the group has gathered, we’ll board a minibus that will take us to the starting point of the route—about a 30-minute drive. Once there, your guide will hand out snowshoes and trekking poles and give you a brief explanation on how to walk in the snow—it’s easier and more fun than you think! When everyone’s ready, we’ll begin our hike.

Hiking through Rovaniemi’s snowy forests:
Fully equipped, we’ll start walking through snowy landscapes filled with pine and spruce trees. You'll follow the guide through a place where you’ll feel a kind of silence you’ve probably never experienced before. Breathe in the purest, freshest air in the world.
The hike lasts for about 2 hours, and you’ll have plenty of time to ask questions and learn more about Rovaniemi’s history and the legends of its forests. At the end of the hike, your guide will offer you a hot drink as a well-deserved reward after the effort.

Return to Rovaniemi
