Although it is not a complicated excursion, it is recommended to be in good physical shape due to the steeper areas of the hike where the snow increases and the effort with the snowshoes is greater.

Meeting point in Rovaniemi
The Snowshoeing in Rovaniemi will begin at the Rovaniemi meeting point at 10:00 AM. Once the group is gathered, we’ll board a minibus that will take us to the starting point of the route. This ride will take approximately half an hour. Once there, the guide will hand out the snowshoes and hiking poles so you can get familiar with them. They’ll also briefly explain how to walk on snow — you’ll see how fun it is! Once everyone is ready, we’ll begin our hike.

Hiking in the snowy forests of Rovaniemi
Already equipped, we will start walking among pines, firs and lots of snow. We will follow the guide in this place where you will feel the silence as you have never felt before. You will breathe the purest and, above all, the freshest air in the world. The walk lasts 2 hours and you can also ask all the questions you want to learn more about the history of Rovaniemi and the legends surrounding its forests. At the end of the hike, the guide will give you a hot drink - a well-deserved reward for all your hard work!

Return to Rovaniemi
After two hours of walking, you will take off your snowshoes and we will get back in our vehicle to return to Rovaniemi, where after 20 minutes we will drop you off at your accommodation.
