Please allow up to 45 mins - 1 hour to park your vehicle and transfer to the Milford Sound Visitor Terminal, where you must check in for your cruise 20 minutes prior to departure. Car parking at Milford Sound is organised by Milford Sound Tourism (MST). The main parking area is approx. a 10 minute walk to the terminal. Parking in Deepwater Basin is approx. a 25 minute walk from the terminal.

Yes, sheets, comforters and towels are provided for all passengers.

Yes, you may share a cabin with other passengers. Alternatively, you may choose to pay for a full cabin or two double cabins to ensure privacy. If you want to book a full cabin, please contact us.

Note: the shared quadruple cabins are mixed (men and women).

A double room is a private room for two people with a shared bed. A twin room is private for two people with two single beds.

If advance notice is given, attempts are made to accommodate passengers with reduced mobility in areas closer to the main areas. However, the ships are not fully adapted: there are steps, doors with a marine threshold and no internal ramps.

Personnel are trained to handle emergencies and their instructions should be followed. Each ship has a portable defibrillator, as do several key points in the region.

Yes. Visitors should be aware of natural hazards such as earthquakes, tsunamis, landslides, avalanches, flooding, and extreme weather conditions. The Alpine Fault, which is capable of producing major earthquakes, may trigger landslides or tsunamis, although these events are unlikely during a visit.
