📍 Departure from Tromsø
We will meet at the meeting point in Tromsø at 10 a.m. or 9 p.m. (depending on the option chosen), where you will be met by our local guide. From there we will start our scenic drive through some of the most breathtaking scenery in Northern Norway.
The tour takes place during the midnight sunseason , a natural phenomenon when the sun does not set below the horizon. Weather permitting, you will enjoy this unique spectacle as we drive through landscapes bathed in golden light.
First Stop: Ersfjordbotn Fjord
Our first stop is Ersfjordbotn, a stunning fjord surrounded by dramatic mountain peaks. Here, you'll have time to explore the scenic viewpoint, take photos from above or right at the water’s edge, and soak in the beauty of one of the most breathtaking fjords in the region.
Sommarøy
Continue to Sommarøy, a charming seaside village known for its white sandy beaches and small islands. It is a popular destination in both summer and winter for its natural beauty. You will have free time to stroll around, breathe the fresh Arctic air and photograph its unique scenery.
Stopover with campfire and Norwegian snack
During the tour, we will make a special stop to gather around a cozy campfire. Here we will enjoy Norwegian hot dogs with "lumpe" (traditional bread), hot drinks and snacks, while sharing stories about life in the Arctic and its curiosities.
