Santa Cruz - Puerto Ayora
At the exit of the Baltra airport, we will have someone waiting for you. They will then accompany you to the bus that transports you from the airport to the pier. Once at the pier, we will have someone there waiting for you. You will catch the ferry that will take you to Santa Cruz and from there you will go to your hotel.
Charles Darwin Research Station
In the afternoon you will visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, the scientific research center of the Galapagos National Park. There you will have the opportunity to see the incredible giant tortoises, famous for their size and longevity. Some of them living over 100 years. We will also see a giant cactus forest where terrestrial birds inhabit. After this very interesting visit we will have free time to rest in our hotel in Santa Cruz and regain strength for the next day.
DAY 2 Kayak in Tortuga Bay and transfer to Isabella
Kayaking in Tortuga Bay
A very active and fun day awaits you for day two. After breakfast you will go to Tortuga Bay, where you will have the chance to kayak on its spectacular white sand beaches. You will also have time to swim, snorkel, and enjoy its beautiful seabed or walk alongside the iguanas that take the sun quietly.
Isabela Island
At the end you will sail towards Isla Isabela, where you will spend the night. The trip will last two hours and once there you will have a free afternoon to do as you please. A few recommendations are to rest, walk around the island or enjoy all the interesting places the island has to offer such as the flamingo pools or the Arnaldo Tupiza Turtle Breeding Center.
DAY 3 Sierra Negra - Tintoreras
Sierra Negra Galapagos
From Puerto Villamil our transport will take you to "El Cura" and there you will start the 8km hike where you will skirt the caldera of the volcano until the "Los Jaboncillos". Following this, you will walk towards the small volcano. Finally you will continue on the road, making a route of 8km until returning to El Cura to take the transport to Puerto Villamil.
Tintoreras Islet
In the afternoon the beautiful turquoise waters of Las Tintoreras await you, where you will be able to see the incredible sea lions, the precious sea turtles, the impressive iguanas, the majestic rays and the famous "tintoreras" or sharks with white tips. You will return to your hotel and have some free time to rest and remember all the unforgettable sights you just experienced.
DAY 4 Bicycle Wall of Tears - Santa Cruz
Wall of Tears
After breakfast you will take bikes and take a tour of the Wall of Tears. This wall built between 1946 and 1959 reminds us of the time when Isabela Island was a penal colony. During their sentence the prisoners were forced to build the prison wall with blocks of lava. Many prisoners died during construction, hence the name of the wall. Along the way you will have the chance to enjoy the view from multiple viewpoints.
Santa Cruz
In the afternoon your transfer will take you back to Santa Cruz, a journey of two hours that you will take by boat. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to rest, or walk and enjoy the charms of the island.
