South Lofoten Highlights - Summer Photo Tour
📍 Pick up at Svinøya Rorbuer or Svolvær
We'll meet at 09:15 a.m. at Svinøya Rorbuer or 09:30 a.m. at Thon Hotel Lofoten (or the nearby Tourist Information Office) before setting off on our scenic minibus journey through the southern part of the Lofoten archipelago.
Ramberg Beach
Our first stop is Ramberg Beach, often called the Arctic Copacabana. With its white sand, turquoise waters, and dramatic mountain backdrop, it’s the perfect place to start capturing the essence of Lofoten—and to connect with nature in its purest form.
Flakstad Church
Next, we visit Flakstad Church, one of the oldest in Lofoten, dating back to the 18th century. Its unique Russian-inspired architecture and coastal setting make it a must-see for both history buffs and photographers.
Hamnøy
We then arrive at Hamnøy, one of the most iconic spots in the islands. This picturesque fishing village is known for its red rorbuer (traditional fishermen’s cabins) and the famous viewpoint from the bridge—offering one of Norway’s most photographed scenes.

Take in one last unforgettable view over Reinefjord, and then we’ll begin our return to Svolvær. The tour wraps up around 4:30 PM, leaving you with a camera full of stunning shots and a heart full of memories.
