Pick-up at the meeting point and transfer to Båtskärsnäs
We will meet at the scheduled time at the meeting point and board our bus to start the trip to the Swedish town of Båtskärsnäs, where the icebreaker ship will be waiting for us. This trip will take approximately 2 hours and you will be able to enjoy the snowy landscape around Rovaniemi as well as the forests surrounding the Kemi River.

Once we arrive at the dock, we will board the icebreaker ship and let the adventure begin!
To get to know the ship better, our guide will show us around the ship, from the engine room to the captain's maneuvering area. You will feel like a real sailor!
As we sail, you will enjoy the beautiful and calm waters of the Bothnia Sea while the ship breaks through all the layers of ice in its path. You will be able to watch the experience from inside the ship, or you can go up on deck.

After 2 hours of cruising, we will recharge our batteries with lunch and a hot drink. Then, we will participate in the next adventure: floating in the frozen sea of Bothnia. With the help of our guide and the rest of the crew, we will enter the icy waters where we will swim and float thanks to the special suits.
A short time later, we will get back on board the ship and head back to the departure pier where the tour will end.

The train journey takes between 9 and 12 hours and costs about 80 euros per person. There is also the possibility to travel by night train.
